Yumm, rice cereal

Okay, so maybe rice cereal is not exciting to us but to Isabella it sure is yummy. We introduced it almost a month ago and we have now progressed to having it once a day and boy does she gobble it down. She even gets a bit upset with her mommy if I don't spoon it fast enough.

She also has to show her independence by trying to hold the spoon herself. But being only 4 1/2 months old if mom lets her hold the spoon it promptly ends up on the floor. Polo, our dog, has not yet discovered that food can drop from the highchair. But when that day comes he will adore her!

Marco - daddy

I realized that I did not have any pictures of my husband here and I know many of my students have never met him. So, here are a couple of photos of him and you can see Isabella looks just like him!

Texas Cousins

Well, Isabella and I had a busy week last week as her cousins from Texas were visiting. I don't get to see my brother and his family often so it was a special treat to have them come to visit. It was my eldest nephews spring break and boy did we have some great weather while they were here. Isabella loved to look at the faces of her cousins and at least the two older ones were just as enamored. My three old nephew did not care as much as his siblings but no feelings were hurt.
Isabella especially loved to "chat" with her aunt Darcie and gave lots of smiles to her uncle Brian. Though we miss them my cat, Winnie, does not seem to miss being chased by a three year old - Carson just loves my kitty. And thanks to this same child my dog has been renamed from Polo to Pillow! You just have to love kids.
Here are some photos of Isabella and her cousins - Connor, Kiera and Carson.

Going for a walk

Well, today is a beautiful day and Marco decided to take Isabella and Polo for a walk. Her she is styling in her leopard print jacket given to her by our friend Danielle. This is a jacket her aunt Deirdre would love to see her in.

Isabella in utero

Well, I thought it might be fun to show a picture of me pregnant with Isabella in a balancing pose. I was 9 months pregnant here and was amazed that I could actually balance. I was not brave enough to try away from the wall but I am still proud of myself.

Baby & Me yoga

At least at this point she can't protest going with me to yoga class, well she does protest about the car seat but in general loves to see the other babies and their mommies.
